BIOGRAPHY

Chloe Mason earned her BA in Performance Theatre from Appalachian State University, where she developed a passion for theatre for social change and the practice of safe, consensual stage intimacy. During her time there, she revived Women+ Inclusive Theatre Troupe: a collective of femme artists dedicated to pushing boundaries through progressive, collaborative performance techniques. Now based in Wilmington, NC, Chloe has served as an Intimacy Coordinator for productions with both SIHR and MoB Theatre. At MoB- a grassroots company dedicated to generating meaningful new work- she also serves as Company Manager, in addition to her roles as director, actor, and visual artist. As an Intimacy Coordinator, she advocates for actor safety and authentic connection onstage, facilitating open communication and consent-based processes in rehearsal and performance. In addition to her theatre work, Chloe is a full-time educator and part-time storyteller, maintaining high standards for the art she creates and the communities she builds through it.
