BIOGRAPHY
A veteran actress with over 100 stage, film, TV and commercial credits including two one-woman shows, a featured role in an Oscar winning film, and a national commercial. After attending Duke University, Suellen worked for Playmakers Repertory Company at UNC-Chapel Hill before joining OHTC in 1992. Favorite on stage moments (too numerous to list) include Streetcar Named Desire, Full Gallop, Nine, La Cage Aux Folles, Cabaret and Wit. Favorite directorial projects include Les Miserables, 42nd Street, Music Man, Jesus Christ Superstar, 9 to 5 and Fiddler on the Roof for which she won the 2024 Wilmington Theater Award for Outstanding Director of a Musical.
