Master the audition room with this intensive, ongoing class co-taught by two industry professionals. Auditioning can feel foreign and intimidating, but we believe it's a vital muscle that can be conditioned and—believe it or not—made fun, regardless of the outcome! This course provides continuous, practical preparation for professional submissions across Equity, regional, and cruise line contracts. You will gain "real-life" experience through on-your-feet mock auditions in a nurturing environment, focusing on picking, preparing, and authentically conveying material. Crucially, you will also master the musical demands of the room, learning key skills such as how to efficiently mark your sheet music, relay a tempo, and communicate clearly with the provided accompanist to ensure a seamless experience for both you and your pianist. This class is designed to build a sustainable, ready-to-use audition binder and equip the performer with the confidence needed to succeed in the professional marketplace.
